As a backend engineer, I primarily work in Python and write RESTful APIs in Django Rest Framework on AWS (Elastic Beanstalk, ec2, API Gateway, Cloudfront, S3). I also monitor and manage my team's workload, flag potential issues or areas for improvement, and work to support the team in their training and professional growth.

The splash picture is my dog Noa (half toy poodle, half chihuahua) as drawn by my sister, Holly Rothrock. I have another dog, Sophie, who is an extremely energetic yorkshire terrier and chihuahua mix.
